Session 28: A Granny Appears

General Summary

 

The group moves back to Eshbach with the dwarf Rab McGregor in front. Once they arrive in town they return the horses and continue on to the church. They are welcomed by Edward the monk who is curious about the experience and the gains from the expedition (the staff and the sword). 

 

After confirming the staff and sword with Edward the monk the group heads on to the Eshbach shields to grab a bit to eat and a drink. Along the way the group comes across a few druids busy with a griffon trying to shoo it back into the groove.  

 

Once at the Eshbach shields they will grab a bit to drink and something to eat and introduce most of the towns workings to Rab. Especially paying attention towards the Tabaxi who loves to sneak around and take a bite out of peoples food and a sip from peoples drinks. 

 

After introducing the town a bit to Rab the group decides to split up. Archi goes to get some flowers, and Magnar goes to visit his wife for some work, and Rab goes with Arne and Mamea to the Ludger clans forge. Once there they meet the 3 dwarves of the Ludger family and they start to negotiate about using the forge. 

He comes to an agreement with the 3 dwarf that run the forge;

Winoc Argail the silversmith 

 

Once done, the group heads to the council and gets asked to investigate Niamh Svart. 

 

The group heads to the bakery which is close to the house that Niamh wanted to buy. Once close Archi decides to enter and find out information about the granny. Once there Archi finds out that the woman has a coven, and 2 other sisters and is very fixated on the child of the bakers family. 

Archi tried a distraction with a skeleton, being warned by Niamh, while the guards step in to warn him not to do that again fining him 5 gold.

They all formulate a plan to examine Niamh's rented room in the Eschbach Shields where she is temporarily staying. Knowing they have a chance of buttering up Baldwin. Archi will distract him while the rest investigate. He will use magic to communicate with them if Niamh appears.
