The truth of the matter is that there is no reliable way of transferring human consciousness from one body to another, and nobody has been able to prove that a consciousness has been transferred. Some people, even those who have been cloned, claim their consciousness was transferred, but there is no evidence to back it up. What does happen is that the person’s memories are transferred to a new body, and that way it seems your consciousness has been transferred too, because the new body can’t tell the difference. Other people feel like they’re imposters, as they know it’s just memories that transferred. As far as they are concerned one person died and another identical one took their place thinking they are the same, while still knowing they’ not.
