Edwards Air Force Base
A U.S. Airforce installation near Lancaster, California. It was originally named Muroc Field, before being renamed in 1950 in honor of World War II veteran Capt. Glen Edwards.
Edwards is the home of the Air Force Test Center, Air Force Test Pilot School, and NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center.
