Lashura
Lashura has the highest concentration of mages in all of Alderia. At the center of the town it's college of learning, the Wyrmbane Institute, offers mage training from novice to master. It also provides laboratories and other facilities for various experiments and trials. Duke Aldaero Lives right next to the institute and has a stone walkway that attaches his castle to it. Because of the high level of magic users that live and frequent there it is one of the best places to get magical components and items.
Massive stone beams banded with metal wall the town of Lashura on top of which are pathways, archer holes, and oil ramps for guards to patrol and defend it. These beams are enforced with magic that allows them to repel simple attacks. Wooden pikes also surround the town in front of the wall and circle the parameter except the two entrances to the town. Fifty foot high guard towers stand over the entrances allowing guards to maintain the high ground while defending their home. Inside is a common town with the dukes palace and wyrmbane institute at the center. Because it is home to such a well know mages college many of the people living there are either mages or magically inclined.
Government
Duke Aldaero rules his town with an iron first. The anvil is his nickname because of his unwavering attitude towards upholding law and his harshness in his punishment.
