Function

The Tortuga Gazetteer is the prime method of keeping everyone informed on the Shifting Isles. No matter where you go, you will find one of the many doglike reporters questioning people, writing articles and being a general nuisance.

Structure

The main printing press and therefore HQ is located at Tortuga, while some of the other smaller mobile, but still settled islands seem to have a local branch of the Tortuga Gazetteer. Contents between all branches remain the same, it is still unknown which specific magic is used to communicate and coordinate. An aquisition might be useful for our military efforts.
All employees belong to the same - as of yet unidentified - race and operate under the same moniker of Scriber Jaqueramaphan.

History

The exact founding date is unknown, but it seems that the Gazetteer has been operating for quite a while, as it seems to enjoy the trust of the general populace as well as the captains of the council.
