Harvester Species in The Sagas | World Anvil

Harvester

They are always wanting more

The Harvester is the result of the use of Blood magic on a Corpse. By doing this the Harvester become stronger and faster than most undead, but in doing this they become highly aggressive in the process. Which make them hard to control even with the most experienced of necromancers. Another problem that they have is that they often decay quicker than most undead, so they absorb other copses in to them to stay alive. This is a result of the blood magic burning through it body and since it is already dead it cannot produce it own blood it quickly falls apart with out sustenance. Resulting in them to grow larger and larger as time goes on and increasing their appetite for more bodies to absorb. The best way to keep down for good is to just let them not have any more bodies to absorb and let the rot. But could just burn them or take of its head if you can gt close enough. But you best be prepared because they are quite the killing machines and can difficult to kill.
