History
The role of cavalry on the battlefield became ever more important to the expansion of the Kingdom of Vatia and the Vatian Empire since they were used in both flanking and scouting in war. But as they became larger and larger over time officers were formed in order to keep them in shape for their next task. These officers would be at the front of every charge making it one of the most lethal positions in the legion. They are some of the most bold as well for they will not be easily intimidated by who ever they face. Making them a good example to the men he commands under him.
Cultural Significance
The cavalry officer is said to be a more prestigious than that of a Legionary due to their role on the battlefield and are often admired by those around them.
