The idea of the Black Merchants is to make money off weapons and dangerous items that they come across illegally and sell them to those who a have nefarious purposes that are willing to pay lots of money for. They are the black market of all things that bring death to others and profit off of it.

History
As long as there have been those who are wicked and cruel, there have always been a select few who have traded with them. These are the Black Merchants that sell the forbidden and the deadly. The origins of these infamous merchants are said to have start in Alendrea, the city of merchants on the Dark Continent when it was just become a city of trade. Here they began selling weapon and artifacts from all across the continent that were forbidden as a way to outclass the competition. This how ever only brought pain and misery to those that they sold to. As their weapons were used in crime and the artifacts were that of the occult and magic.
Leading the chaos where ever they went and were hunted extensively because of it. Many fled the city and the scatter over much of the world bedding their wares were every they went. But often in the places that no one would look for them to continue their business. All of this would be in their desire for wealth above all else. They would continue to sell items that were dangerous to use and searched for artifacts and treasures in old abandoned places that were said to be cursed along with any items with in them. With some cases of the items in their procession causing disasters and tragedies that are still remember to this day. Making them outlawed across much of the known world and are allowed to be killed on sight to ensure they can never cause any harm again.
