Hachra, Goddess of Chaos
Hachra is the goddess of chaos, insanity, and creativity, and was the patron of The Ancestor Civilization. She is the fourth child of Haamat and Luuda, and is the eldest of their three daughters.
Followers
Followers of Hachra are granted the ability to operate old-world technologies without the use of a Steam Core, or break natural laws to create their own bizarre inventions. Warriors and guards who follow Hachra may enter a beserk state which makes them terrifying in battle.Ethics and Values
Followers of Hachra value cleverness and skill, as well as art and appreciation of beautiful things. Followers of Hachra may become insane for defacing a work of art, or otherwise devaluing a skilled Craftsman. Rarely, Hachra has also been known to curse her followers for no discernible reason.Curses and Monsters
The curse of Hachra drives her followers insane and causes them to distort themselves into creatures that are part flesh and part machine. These half-machines usually do not survive long in the forest, as the other monsters continue to believe they are human. Hachra's monsters are not contagious, and the level of threat they present can vary widely.Divine Domains
Hachra is the goddess of chaos, insanity, genius, crafting, smithing, art, and music. She was the patron of the ancestors, but fell out of favor after the world ended. Insane people are regarded very suspiciously in the Realm, as all insanity is seen as a sign of Corruption even if the afflicted person is not a follower of Hachra.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Hachra is usually represented by a fox. Her other symbols include the coyote, the loom, the hammer, and the gear.
Holidays
The Festival of Hachra is held in early winter. It is celebrated through competitions between Craftsmen. Most craftsmen will participate in the festivities, even if they are not followers of Hachra.
