Village of Farel
The southernmost land point on Lif's Bridge, Farel has the closest view of the constant swirling storm in The Shimmering Sea that blinds nearby eyes the moment the gold spark rises in the morning and sets in the evening. The residents are surprisingly comfortable living on the edge of madness on the edge of The Shimmering Sea, with limitless ocean bounty to be had, along with their hardy livestock and the bountiful lichens they eat.
Farel serves as the southern supply port for the Lif's Bridge region, and dock for long voyage icebreaker ships heading south and back again. They have a close relationship with the Isle of Rim in Starbourne lake, who import goods to this barren region from across the Void in Vanaheim.
