The earliest recorded time of unified civilisations existing on Eptan, moving from simple tribes to towns with populations over 10,000, before settlement in Antir.
A timeline for major events and changing periods of time for Eptan.
The period of time that saw mass migration from the southern continents northwards, to the realm of Antir.
After the initial migration, tribal and feudal states formed (though often small), which then expanded and colonised the new lands they had discovered. A period of relative peace and flourishing.
The two decade long upheaval of the world. Huge destruction and extinction wide events wiped out most civilisations.
Colonisation slows, as population centres swell, the first cities form with populations numbering over 500,000. Countries form in a more modern sense with increasing centralisation.
Wars start in increasing frequency, now on a scale unseen before. Armies number in the tens of thousands. War pushes a technological boom. First city with over 1 million people. Note; this era includes "The Purification" experienced by the Enoh.
The desolation from wars slowly recovers, many barren lands start to be reconquered by flora and fauna. Technological progress assists production methods and artisan guilds first form.
The current era. Many states fracture under cultural and political destabilisation. New factions appear, guilds gain monopolies, and the first city in Antir to break the 2.5 million barrier.
