The Salmonpuddles

The Salmonpuddle gnomes were one of the noble families of Tumult. Elder Grift Salmonpuddle, great-grandfather to Lord Kourend Salmonpuddle, joined the Iscalon the First against the Dragon Blight, cementing his family into the nobility of Tumult. They mostly lived around the Pinecone region in the South-Eastern corner of Tumult, and made most their wealth on the green revolution in wheat in that region. They later faded when a mysterious disease targeted their family specifically. This disease was coined the Curse of the Salmonpuddles. They went quiet in the year 996 when the last known member passed from the curse.
In 1040, Kourend Salmonpuddle, a lost child of the family, returned to reclaim his title. People thought the family was restored with vigor, as Kourend became a hero in Tumult. Unfortunately he died in the Demon Troubles in Dusk. Yet, there still remains hope that the Salmonpuddle will return once more.

Assets

By deeds, they are the rightful rulers of Pinecone and much of its vast agricultural wealth. The government leases this out to farmers and a local steward until a Salmonpuddle returns to take the claim.

Disbandment

Disbanded with the death of all their members.
