More Mission

The More Mission derives from the branch of More of the Church of Veritas on the Veritian Leaf. It is a charity and missionary branch of the Church of Veritas, moving south out of its territory to proselytize the Sundered Lands. Following the teachings of More, they do so by creating relationships with the most downtrodden and abandoned peoples. Thus, More Missionaries could be found in prisons, refugee camps, slums, etc. They are mostly tolerated throughout the leaf as they provide a social service that is funded by Church of Veritas money.

Structure

While they are funded by an organized religion, they are very loosely organized themselves. Some are run by individuals fulfilling a need, others are church groups working as a collective. They all listen to the words of the paraclete of More, but are ultimately independent.

Culture

They carry a culture of sacrifice and charity, giving everything they have to the poor and downtrodden.

To alleviate suffering and preach the word of More.

History

It arose soon after the Sundering, seeing the great suffering the world outside of the northern region was going through. It was a reformation amongst the branch of More seeing their great failure in keeping the Church united. They work to fix that divide ever since, often in opposition to the political aims of other branches of the church.
