Lesvetter

The Lesvetter is a Scyphozoa class mothership of the Eighth division of the Eternal Empire's Fourth Fleet. It houses the data center of the Fourth Fleet, and is controlled by the Lesvetter RAM System. The ship looks like a jellyfish with an orb inside it. The orb is the station and the translucent jelly exterior is what keeps it afloat. This makes the mothership a good base of operations but does not have much offensive capabilities.

Districts

The Lesvetter is divided into 11 sections:
  • Latrine Depths: The sewage and waste portion of the ship. While a large portion of it is as dirty as it's name suggests, it is also a recycling center and has a air purification biodome filled with a sizable forest. Nevertheless, it is not a residential portion of the ship.
  • Homestead: In the lower half of the mothership is the Homestead district, a portion of the ship allocated for the families of the soldiers of the Eighth Division. It is a district of mismatched structures, as the numerous cultures and races of the Eternal Empire built their own styles of homes in this area. Also, with the age of the ship, this section has been building layer upon layer on top of each other, making whole under layers long forgotten by the locals.
  • Trade Bay: The civilian port of entry allocated for trade. It acts more like a market, as no permanent structures of trade can be set up here in case of the port needing to take in a large vessel or an inordinate amount of goods. Considering its proximity to Homestead, most the local civilian population shop here.
  • Basic Training: The military port and training section of the Lesvetter. New recruits are trained here before being sent to their respective carrier or dreadnought.
  • The Core: At the center of the spherical mothership is the core, the central power generator for the entire ship. The heat and electricity of this thing makes it inhospitable for organic organism to go near, so it remote controlled constructs and data elementals keep the thing operational.
  • The Palatic Guard: In a crescent structure rotating around the core is the Palatin Guard, a special training center for the Ram's Guardian Program.
  • Chrome Den #1:While organic waste goes to the Latrine Depths, industrial and robotic waste heads to the Chrome Den #1. On the starboard side of the ship, this part of the ship was meant to be storage for old models of equipment in case of need and perhaps recycling. Neglect has turned into a trash heap and ship graveyard. An old carrier sits here, and a group of mad robots called the "Discontinued" have ceased a modicum of control over the region. Nevertheless, many civilians of the Ram make their money scavenging from this place, as the higher ups can't be bothered to clean it up.
  • Chrome Den #2: On the port side of the ship is the civil sector, Chrome Den #2. Legal offices, social services, branches of organizations from the fatherland, etc. find their home here.  The main building here is the Court of Neutrality, where people from throughout the fleet settle their differences from a court who is utterly neutral. it is also home of the self-proclaimed "Exile", a group of rejected guardians.
  • Jelly Flow: At the top of the sphere, making a ring around Artificial Stand, is the Jelly Flow, the control center of the outer floatation medusa. Much of it is pumps keeping the pink chemical compound flowing through the system, but there also the heaters to maintain the hot air outside (like a hot air balloon). Much of it is overseen by the A.I. system as it is highly toxic, but there are a group of workers called "Flow Flounders" who venture in.
  • High Standard: The Upper class District near the top of the ship. It is where the old and wealthy of the Ram go to retire. It would be considered upper class from Ram standards, but it is nothing compared to the wealth of other divisions. It was built to house the Great Library, the pride of the Lesvetter, but the wealthy district latched on afterwards.
  • Artificial Stand: Where the A.I.'s core sits and oversees the ship. It is on the very top.
