Mother Nalvug

Mother Nalvug was the matriarch of the Yugernauch clan during the Eternal Empire's invasion of the Veritian Leaf in 1102. In a warrior culture that praises combat, leadership of the clan is given to the oldest member as they survived the longest. This hobgoblin clan also believes that elders are closer to their ancestors spiritually, and thus seek their advice above all others. Mother Nalvug would not be considered the greatest of leaders of the Yugernauch clan, as most of her time in leadership was during the time where the Yugernauch's were barred from combat after the failure on Menthal and other rumours of distrust, but she did earn the respect of the civilians living on the Lesvetter. As the Yugernauchs were not wanted on the frontlines, Mother Nalvug used these antsy soldiers in maintaining and protecting the residential quarters of the Ram's mothership. This proved fortuitous when the Truth Plague hit the Lesvetter, and many placed their hope in Mother Nalvug in holding the ship. If the Winter Contingency did not go into effect, she may have.
