People's Rebublic of Fromata

Purpose
The People's Republic of Fromata aimed to create the antithesis of the Frozen Imperium. The PRF set out to be a total democracy instead of Imperium's Fascist Snowelven supremacy. A majority of the military leadership was voted in at the beginning but as the nation got older, political identity flourished and matured throughout the continent.Organization
The PRF was separated into Four branches, The Chancery, The Arcanum, The Judiciary, and the Military. All branches work together to ensure the preservation of all FromatiansChancery
The Chancery is the legislative and ambassadorial body of the PRF. the Chancellor is the executive position of the chancery and acts as a mediator between the 3 major political factions. Chancellors are elected by the senators who are elected by the citizens in their district. Unlike other branches, The chancery also has local positions that are responsible for townships and cities.Republicans:
Republicans aim to have more governmental control of the country through empowering the chancery (both federally and locally). Republicans also want to nationalize all commerce to control the interior markets. The Republicans were the loudest voice condemning the choice to allow the South to govern itself even with the lack of resources for the infant nation.Theists
Theists aim to drive out secular influences in the government and establish The PRF as a religious nation under the Holy See. Theists are usually the ambassadors to the Solar Imperium. Theist were the loudest voice wanting the South to separate from the North since they held most of the PRF's holy see members.Labor
The labor party aims to empower the military, specifically the laborers and unions. the labor party is split between social democrats and communists on whether corporations should be nationalized or just regulated.The Arcanum
The Arcanum is the regulatory body over magic users and items. The Arcanum oversees the education of Wizards and sorcerers and Warlock pact negotiations. Clerics can choose to become members but all other magic users must be members of the Arcanum to access libraries, laboratories, and ritual sites.The Judiciary
The judiciary is the body of justice for the PRF. The judiciary is led by a council of judges that sit until voted out. they are the main regulatory body of each branchThe Military
The Military branch is an element kept over from the Fromatian civil war. Every citizen after the age of maturity is drafted into the military. The military covers a wide range of services. It acts as the Workers union and represents the workers in corporate spaces. It upholds the workers' right to a livable wage and a healthy life. The military also upholds the supply lines both nationally and internationally. The medical corps provide free healthcare and the Infra corps provides and maintains roads, bridges, and ports for the populous. The steam corp is the newest addition to the military which provides a railroad transportation system across the continent. The military also steps up when it's time for war or defense. The leading doctrine of the military is the Voa doctrine which is to "Kill the tyrannical, establish the democracy"Summery
The PRF was not built to be the governmental body for Fromata. It was a military first and foremost which proved useful in the Fromatian civil war. It was a pure meritocracy where nepotism and other bypasses would mean defeat. while a pure meritocracy did wonders for the leadership, it also bred radical differing factions that would eventually lead to its dissolution.
