Dwarves
Dwarves are the mining people of the mountains. They are seldom known to leave their caves if not on an errand. Tale has it that they still fear the wrath of the dragons.
Only few other mortals have ever entered their mountain halls for the dwarves keep the entries to the kingdoms hidden. Yet some of their architecture remains under the open sky, mostly remains of the second Order, where they worked hand in hand with the dragons and built things of great wonder that time had little effect on.
But even in these days it is not quite uncommon to se a party of dwarves. Altough hey often try to keep their intentions secret, one can often guess whether they are on their way to visit familiy or to find new or old treasure.

Civilization and Culture
History
The first mountain kingdom of the dwarves is said to be somewhere in the sundering mountains altough its exact location and entrances have been kept a secret to this day. Quite probably there are now more than one kingdoms in those mountains. Also the dwarves spread to other mountains already during the first Order of the world.
During the great demonwar their losses were small compared to ther races as their biggest part was in the building and operating of war maschines at the back lines of armies. Thus after the war they recovered quickly.
During the second Order they managed to do true wonders while they worked together with the dragons. But both races began to get greedy and in the end war broke out and as close they had been before as hot now burned their wrath and never again has there been paece between these two races.
During the third Order dwarves stayed hidden in the caves for the most part. In the later years of this age however they could be seen again wandering afar, seeking for news from other mountain kingdoms they had been separated for years now through the attacks of the dragons.
