worlds by category

A world is a planet, often understood as a planet either inhabited or visited by humans. Most of all known planets are not commonly called worlds, as humans have never approached even their star systems, much less any of the planets.   An inhabitation is the permanent settlement of a world by humans.

Inhabited worlds without doors

In star systems with a door, it is not practicable to have doors between the various planets and other locations. Thus slower, mechanical propulsion is necessary. The following worlds are in same star systems as some other world with a door in it. They are commonly called sisters of their door-having worlds.
  • Mars
  • Izmat II 2132/2133 - a less amenable planet in Izmat system; had a door from Earth
  • Jasminia IV, whose third moon (Jasminia IVc) is home to the Artists, a Stone Age alien species. Jasminia IV is a sister of Jasminia I.

Visited worlds

These worlds were never permanently inhabited. From Earth:
  • The Husk 2122/---
  • Corpseland 2124/---
  • Nowhere 2124/---
  • Blastoff 2124/---
  • Black Death 2124/---
From Izmat:     There should be more of these from the latter days, too.

Unvisited worlds

Without doors, travel from one star system to another is so slow as to be practically impossible; it has never been done by humans. For this reason, though some intriguing worlds have been observed from nearby inhabited or visited ones, they have for the lack of a door not been visited.
