This document has been contributed by: Yxjun

Hello! I'm Yxjun, father of the Unseelie Court. May I have your name?
Why, hello there! Are you interested in the Unseelie Court? Of course I have been asked to write this article - I am the highest power in the Unseelie Realm (and, arguably, the entire Feywild, but I won't get into that right now seeing as my dear sister would... disagree. But I digress). The Unseelie Realm is one of two sub-sections of the Feywild, ruled by yours truly, Yxjun. But, sadly, this article is not about me, but rather my (quite amazing, in my unbiased opinion) realm.

Geography

The Unseelie Realm is divided into four major sections. To the... well, if we're using cardinal directions, west, though the Feywild is notoriously... bad about directions? Anyways, to the west is the swamps. These swamps are home to two of the archfey of the Unseelie Court, Daedara and Aethylia. These archfey are the rulers of the hag and siren courts respectively. To the southeast are the mountains, housing both Grandar and Balvan, Archfey of faerie dragons and Faeryn respectively. Balvan's realm also expands northwards into the plains, where Hethranil, the Darkling King, resides. Lastly, and most importantly, in the centre of the Unseelie Realm, is my own personal realm.

Surviving the Feywild: Tips from Sha'Ren

Because I have the audacity to not want to give away trade secrets in this article, Sha'Ren has insisted on adding to this document. Sure. Whatever.

The Swamps

The Swamps are home to Mother Daedara and Aethylia, neither of whom are particularly... friendly... to outsiders. I don't exactly recommend interacting with most of the Unseelie Court, but these two in particular are, less than ideal. Mother appears friendly, but do NOT let her trick you into letting her give you a "gift". And with Aethylia? Keep your ears plugged.

The Mountains

Housing the realms of Balvan and Grandar, the mountains are only slightly less dangerous to visiting adventurers. Grandar likes to stay in his lair all the goddamn time, so as long as you don't bother him, you're probably fine. Balvan, on the other hand, is friendly. He, well, doesn't exactly fit in with the rest of the Unseelie Court. Honestly, you're probably "safest" here.

The Plains

The plains in the centre of the Feywild are home to Hethranil and... Yxjun. Your best hope in making it out of the Feywild does not lie with them. Do not let them convince you it does. In fact, making any sort of deal with these two is a great way to actually guarantee that you will be staying in the Feywilds until they get bored. And whatever you do, DO NOT give either of them your name.

History

Now, originally, the Feywild was one realm, ruled entirely by my sister. Well, sort of. She had an artifact, this green glowing orb that was gifted to her by a stranger who I, unfortunately, still do not know the identity of - it is one of the few things I don't know. Anyways, long story short, it connected her to the Feywild and gave her life- and nature- related powers. Everywhere she goes, plants bloom around her. It's disgustingly positive. We were mortals back then, and this was a source of argument sometimes (as far as I can tell, but that's a story for another time). Regardless, there was a ritual we attempted to perform. Us and two others were meant to become gods - however, only two of us did, and Nellara and I remained mortals. Now, sure, this may have been partially my fault, but like, it was the perfect opportunity to try to steal the orb. What was I supposed to do??
So the orb regrettable did not want to part with my sister, and for some reason unbeknownst to me, definitely did not want to come into my posession. But I kept pulling, and it ended up splitting in half. My half became warped, while her half retained most of its properties.
What this did serve to do was bring half of the Feywild into my possession - however, it drove a wedge between me and my sister. I can't imagine why, she was hoarding the orb in the first place. But something something "irreparable damage" and "morphing an entire plane of existence to your own whims", and she won't talk to me anymore. Which is fine, because I don't particularly want to talk to her.
And now we reach the present day. I still have my half of the orb, known as the Blood of the Feywild, and she has hers, the Heart of the Feywild. They give each of us power over our respective realms, allowing us complete control over the terrain, size, and relative direction of the lands. While Nellara has been grossly underusing the Heart, I like to think I've made good use of the Blood. And with any luck, I can rule the entire Feywild, freeing it from my sister's iron fist.

The fey of the Unseelie Court

Most of what you've heard about us on the material plane is... somewhat misleading. Sure, I've led countless travellers to their deaths - but that doesn't mean I'm evil! They deserved it. besides, I used to be worse. I haven't tried to overthrow a god in millenia!
But anyways, what I want to say here is, my people are no less trustworthy than those of my sister. Sure, the Seelie are "lawful". They'll still lie to you. They lull you into a false sense of security with their reputation, and before you know it you're walking on eggshells around them trying to follow their "rules". It's absurd.
Here in the Unseelie Realm, sure. We may not be the nicest. But at least my people will let you know to your face that they're screwing you over. Most of the time, anyways. We follow our own rules, and so can you! Be free!

A Note about Balvan

OK, I didn't really want to talk about him here, but seeing as he can't read and no one's going to tell him, he'll never see what I write here.
I'm loathe to admit it, of course, but Balvan was not a part of my... plan. You see, I'd wanted to recruit someone else for this position on the Unseelie Court. I trained them to the best of my ability, and they changed their mind last minute. Now he's a floating skull somewhere, so his loss. But anyways, the more important part is I had just announced a new archfey, and I wasn't exactly going to embarrass myself be renouncing that. So... I grabbed the first person who was willing.
Now. Balvan's a lot different from the rest of the Unseelie Court, but he's grown on me a bit. (DO NOT tell him I said that). He's just a little bit too Seelie. Of course, that's where he grew up, so it shouldn't be a suprise, but he just goes on and on about "honour" and "duty" and "justice" and I am losing my mind.
Notes from Saibra
If it's not abundantly clear by his style of writing, Yxjun is nowhere near as good a leader for the Feywild as he imagines he would be. His rise to power came from his manipulating a close friend into attempting to ascend to godhood, with the full expectation that she would fail. His lack of faith in his friend ultimately led to his plan failing, with two of their group ascending while Yjun and his sister were left behind
