Why, who but I, of course?
Nononono. Anything you write will be more self engrandizement and lies, I got this.
Fine, we will do it together!
That's not what I-
We'll do it together!
— Sha'Ren and Yxjun having an argument over who will write Yxjun's contributor document
Notes from Saibra
They in fact did not write this document together. I went to Nellara for the majority of these entries.

Yxjun

Yxjun is one of the Archfey of the Feywild. He is the leader and "father" of the Unseelie Court, and has control over the Unseelie Realm. He has an inflated ego and a desire for power.
Hey! Who wrote this? This isn't what I gave Saibra! Why is father in quotes? What do they mean inflated ego? What is this?
You aren't biologically the father of anyone but Grandar. Why is that your first issue with this? Besides, the rest of that sentence is true, whether you want to admit it or not.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Yxjun was born a shyft, twin brother to Nellara. He was one of the first to study magic, blood magic in particular. The beginning of his and her memory is that of Yxjun's attempt to ascend into godhood.

Failed Ascention

When Yxjun and Nellara awoke at the earliest point in their memories, they were at the top of a mountain with two others, Ashla and Kaurenis. I have contributed an article on Kaurenis, and Ashla has a few documents somewhere, but for the purposes of this story, there is some important information. The four of them were mortals at the time. Ashla was a demi-celestial devoted to Lillon, Kaurenis was a plane-soul, and Yxjun and Nellara were shyfts.
When the four woke up, they had no memory of the past or how they got there. It soon became apparent that the four were friends, trying to help Ashla ascend to godhood. The village they had lived in no longer exists, but was known as Lillona Ahktana, or "Lillon's Blessing".
Unbeknownst to the other three, however, Yxjun had actually orchestrated the entire thing. He had looked into the sources of the gods' power, and, wanting it for himself, came up with a ritual to ascend to godhood. However, this ritual would undoubtedly attract the attention of the gods, so Yxjun needed a way to perform it unnoticed.
He sensed an oppotunity in his friend Ashla's sense of justice, however. He manipulated and convinced her that it would be in the best interests of the town for her to ascend. Yxjun thought that Ashla would perform the ritual and be smited by the gods for heresy, which would give him his chance to ascend along with his sister while the gods were distracted. However, instead of this, Ashla was given a trial to see if she was worthy.
Yxjun also took part in the trial, as this was the source of the memory loss, though none of them knew it at the time. Ultimately, however, it was this lack of belief in his friend's capabilities that led to his plot to fail, resulting in Ashla and Kaurenis ascending while Yxjun and Nellara were still in the presence of the gods.
Wh- who is this writer and how do they know all of this??

The Heart of the Feywild

A detail left out from the previous story, Nellara had in her possession a glowing orb known as the Heart of the Feywild. This was the source of her power, and connected her to the entire Feywild. It gave her control over its terrain and plant life, as well as causing flowers and vines to bloom and grow around her wherever she went.
Yxjun, however, was jealous of this. He wanted the orb for himself, control of the Feywild for himself. This desire only grew when it became clear that his plan to become a god had failed.
Shortly after the apotheosis of Ashla and Kaurenis, Yxjun attempted to steal the orb from Nellara. He underestimated, however, its connection to her - the orb did not want to part with Nellara, and Yxjun's attempt broke it into two pieces. Yxjun's approximate half of the orb became corrupted, now known as the Blood of the Feywild.
This event gave Yxjun control over half of the Feywild, where he has since lived.

The Creation of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts

After Yxjun's failed ascension, Nellara returned to the feywild and began to form the Seelie Court, an organisation to bring some order to the chaotic nature of the Feywild. Yxjun decided that he was jealous of this, as well, and wanted to create something similar. He gathered a pitiful group of people, and he then decided that it would be a great idea to give these people immense amounts of power. Thus, the Unseelie Court was created.
WHAT? Pitiful? "decided it would be a great idea to"- this person clearly does not know what they are talking about! There is nothing wrong with the Unseelie Court!
Well, I mean, by your own admission-
Shut up!

The Vessel

During the foreshadowing of the God War, Yxjun and the rest of the Archfey began to spend less time in the Material Plane. However, Yxjun still wanted some information and influence on the material plane. His solution to this was to make a deal with a mortal elf known as Sha'Ren. This deal caused Sha'Ren to become a "vessel" of Yxjun, allowing Yxjun access to the vision from one of his eyes, giving him an anchor point onto the material plane, should he so use it.

Shattering of the Pallid Conduit

Shortly after the God War, a new Archfey was beginning to gain power in the Five Forests, known as ███████. ███████ was gaining popularity among the then-moon elves of the moonlit forest. Yxjun immediately resented ███████, and looked for a way to overthrow her.
In his research on how to do this, Yxjun laid eyes on the Pallid Conduit, an artefact that gave the forest its life. He sent his vessel to shatter this conduit, to break morale among the moon elves. However, this did not go as planned.
When the Pallid Conduit was shattered, the elves did not lose faith in ███████ as expected. Instead, faith in her only increased, as she was able to inspire hope amongst her people in the midst of the tragedy. To Yxjun, however, the worst part of this entire ordeal was the embarrassment it brought him - it was painfully obvious that he was the one behind this, and the fact that he had caused the opposite effect of what he desired was not a fact that he enjoyed.
In the aftermath of this, Yxjun did as much as he could to try to compensate for this. He did his best to detract attention from the ordeal, inciting scandals among the Seelie and generally causing a stir. Whether or not he was successful in these attempts is somewhat debatable. This event was successfully kept out of most historical records, though one could argue that that is because the fey do not tend to keep many records regardless.
Notes from Saibra
Who redacted those words? I didn't do that, and Nellara certainly didn't... what happened? This is... moderately concerning. I will need to update my security wards and measures.

Further Influence

While most of the activities that Yxjun has been involved in are not notable enough to include here, Yxjun's intentions on the Material Plane did not change. Sha'Ren eventually broke off his deal with the Archfey, limiting what Yxjun was able to do, but he remained to be a menace to the greater world.
What? I am most certainly NOT a menace!
Well, I mean...
Did you write this?? Traitor!
I definitely did not.
"What if I pull a stupid and say, 'You know what? I like power!' Because I do."

Appearance

Yxjun's most commong form is a 6'2" elf. This form, and the majoriy of forms that he takes, he has large deer-like antlers. His eyes are a solid glowing orange, and his magic is a similar colour.
He tends to wear darker clothing, with neutral colour palletes. He carries little on his person, save for the Blood of the Feywild that he does not part with.

Relationships: Nellara

Nellara is the Archfey of the Seelie Court, and Yxjun's twin sister. She is a breath of fresh air compared to her brother, her magic surrounding growth rather than decay. She and Yxjun have a tumultuous relationship, though Yxjun is too much of a coward to ever actually confront his sister on her "failings" that he percieves her to have.
Wait a minute....
Did Nellara write this?
Yes.
WHAT? Why? Why did you ask HER, of all people, to write MY article? This is absurd- this is unfair! What about-
You... are unreliable. She was a more reasonable option.
This is clearly biased-
Your version spent 5 pages rambling about how amazing your hair is.

Notes from Saibra
At this point, Yxjun stormed away. I don't believe he has visited the Library since.
