Like all realms, this place serves as the well of Lord Vow's power. As such, it is filled with his corruption. Within his halls, the Abominations defile countless women from every age, using them as mere cattle to produce more of their unholy ilk. This realm is widely considered to be the most dangerous to linger in as the hoard can smell the flesh of mortals, especially those women fertile enough to serve as their machines.The Palace of Undertow
Once a lavish place of comfort for those who dedicated their lives to simpler and more intimate kindness, Undertow is now the fortress of the Abominable hoard and its halls are filled with sickening sounds. The upper levels are home to Apathy and his daughter wife and are still reminiscent of their former luster. The throne room is the only room truly untouched by corruption, the Throne of Oaths remaining pure and glimmering like sapphire in the gilded hall. The lower levels were not so lucky, and now the many rooms have been converted into prisons for the poor souls imprisoned by the hoard. The grand ballroom has seen the worst mutilation, as its great size and central location is perfect for the Abominations to use as their nursery.Geography
The lonesome cove is a seemingly small realm, a tiny dreary island surrounded by a dead calm sea; however, the waters extend for eternity and house all the souls that have chosen Vow's path. Just off the western coast, a small spire breaches the waves, beneath which is a palace of staggering size. This is the home of Vow, now known as Apathy. Since the Fall of Shadow, the sky has been a dreary overcast that only livens up when Apathy becomes enraged. This rage of his turns the sea into a rampaging beast and causes the sky to howl with fury.
Fauna & Flora
The Abominations have overwhelmed the Mortals that once called the cove home, but cannot harm them. Those who enter the cove through death are eternally protected from the monsters by the power of their unholy, yet benevolent mother.

Author's Notes
Of the five, the Cove is the most sickening of the Shadowlands. Apathy's realm is the product of love perverted by jealousy and greed. It is not a place for the feint of heart, as the halls of Apathy's fortress are filled with the cries of those women being defiled by monsters. When creating this place, I wanted to craft a picture of the absolute extreme to which selfishness can bring one down. The Lonesome Cove is a festering wound where love should have been, that now poisons the very soul.
