Guildeam

The Guildeam, also known as the Guildeam Alliance, is the greatest alliance to be made in Occulas, originating from the end of the Jewel War in an attempt to preserve peace amongst a now broken and leaderless kingdom. The Guilds came into existence following the Guildisation act, started by the Injustira Syndicate. Each guild within the alliance has its own designated representative for the High Court, a group which meets to discuss important political matters spanning the continents.
The Guilds that make up the Guildeam include: the Injustira Syndicate, the The Asmodius Corps, the Arcaz Sovereignty, Castayu Del'yir and Delorius'tatem - The Conclave of Declasia.
These five serve as independent foundations for everything in Occulas. The Arcaz Sovereignty builds the best technology, governs arcane magic and serves as a symbol of intelligence and learning - often sharing their knowledge with the other guilds. The Asmodius Corps is the best manufacturer of weapons for disposal and serves as the greatest military in Occulas, acting as a symbol of power and respect. Castayu Del'yir watches over all life in Occulas and offers ambivalent guidance with nature. It serves as the symbol of preservation and growth. The Injustira Syndicate enforces law and order within Occulas and is the greatest bringer of justice. It acts as a symbol of protection. And Delorius’tatem, a recent addition, acts as a symbol of determination. Each brings invaluable knowledge to the alliance, and traces of each other can be found within the other guild's territories.

Each guild has a designated representative whom holds a seat on the High Court, the embodiment of the alliance that acts on behalf of all involved guilds. When convened, the High Court mostly discusses political matters that might effect one another. Other topics can include world events, expeditions, advances and changes to their societies and in worse case scenarios... war. This court has come together to form a war council on more than one occasion since the Guildisation and each time it has battled for the continued peace and prosperity of the Lands of Occulas.

Structure

The Guildeam is lead by five figures, chosen by each guild to represent them in the alliance. The method in doing so varies between each guild.
For Castayu Del'yir this is always one member of the Circle, which member exactly it can never be ascertained as it is believed they are one body. The Syndicate always chooses its Exarch (Currently Valorious, Exarch) or in the Exarch's stead the Overseer will attend (currently Lucas Purevelion). For the Red Guild the Lord Commander (currently Arwren Guies) is always chosen and no one else comes in their stead. The Sovereignty is represented by either the Grand Mage or the Master Technologist (both currently Magus-Bane). Lastly, the Conclave's own Queen Declasia always represents her guild.

Public Agenda

It is the High Court's goal to ascertain peace in Occulas, to prevent the outbreak of another civil war. It also aims to improve and preserve relations with it's neighboring kingdoms of the Guildeam.
