Reinforcing the Brigade
With the increased demon activity in Meydia and due to The Hunting Brigade being short on hunters in the region, the organization has made efforts to draw adventurers to the province in the hopes for assistance. The brigade is offering rewards of coin for any monster or demon slain. The party can present themselves to Galdrus Robus at the Hunting Brigade Quarters in Hazegate. Once there, they will get some general information about the situation from Galdrus, afterward, he will hand the party a Huntsman Talisman. This talisman is used to count the number of enemies the party has slain. It does so by absorbing a slight piece of a creature's soul. The players can return to Galdrus each time they meet a milestone of creatures slain. Galdrus will reward them with an increasing amount of gold each time they cash in another milestone.
Milestones (per player):
- 25 kills -> 15 gold
- 50 kills -> 30 gold
- 100 kills -> 50 gold
- 180 kills -> 85 gold
- 250 kills -> 150 gold
Grander Scope
This quest will highlight the Increased Demon Activity conflict and provides a way to give more background information about the Hunting Brigade and the empire at large. It also serves as a start-off point for the players to pick up the quest The Five Great Beasts.Description
