Huntsman Talisman

A talisman originating from the Tiefling tribes of Algh’ara. The trinkets are able to trap a small fragment of a creature's soul when slain by its bearer. The Algh'arans used these talismans as a way for their rangers to prove themselves. The Hunting Brigade adopted this custom at some point, using it as a way to track the performance of their hunting parties. Because the talismans rely on a creature's soul in order to keep track of slain creatures, creatures that do not possess a soul or whose soul remains trapped in some other matter cannot be registered by the talisman.   Huntsman Talisman can be created from various materials. The ones used by the Hunting Brigade, however, are crafted to all be alike. They are shaped like a triangle with rounded, small enough to fit in someone's palm, although barely. They are made of dark gray wood known as burned-man wood. On its side, bone shards are inserted from a various selection of creatures. The talisman is decorated with numerous carvings that serve as enchantment descriptions. Lastly, in it's center a blood-red gem is inserted. The soul fragments of creatures are collected in this gem.   The party can receive a huntsman talisman from the head of the Meydian Hunting Brigade, Galdrus Robus, when accepting the quest Reinforcing the Brigade.
