Asmodeus
Asmodeus, land of the demons. This forsaken realm of mythology lies at the edge of Hades, it is here where demonkind makes its home, where they are kept imprisoned. The landscape is riddled with vast mountains and rivers of magma. The heat from the scorched earth and the smoldering rivers cause the land to be so unbearably hot that the air feels suffocating. Surrounding Asmodeus lays the void. It stretches around the domain so closely that it seeps into the land at various places.
The land of Asmodeus plays a big role in the ancient culture of the Hipodean people, an old civilization that has perished long ago. According to their myths, the land is ruled by the demon god Arenez, also called the warden of the underworld. It is his task to keep demonkind constrained to Asmodeus. Yet, Arenez found himself imprisoned within the domain by the other gods, restricting his power over the demons. Because of this, the occasional horde of demons is able to escape from Asmodeus, terrorizing the mortal world.
It is said that Arenez build 26 great cities across Asmodeus. These cities rivel those builds in Eatheria by his brother Zenera. The demons that swore fielty to Arenez were given the privilege to live within these cities. This tactic convinced many demons to accept their faith, greatly easing Arenez's burden.
