Argonian consulate

The Argonian consulate was established in the city of Hazegate about 120 years ago shortly after the Argonian Empire took control of the province. Initially the empire did not see much reason in having direct rule over such a remote region as Meydia, but due to the increase in trade and the exportation of ores and gems, they decided the incorporate Meydia into the empire as an official province. The consulate was build as a place to govern the province from. The current governor of the province is a middle-aged man called Rohein Tailfeather, an ex-merchant who used to trade in the region during his younger days. He has some political ties in the bigger imperial cities across the planes, which is most likely the reason how he got the office.
