Rohein Tailfeather

Rohein Tailfeather is the current governor of the Meydia province. He used to be a trader associated with the Miner's Guild in his younger days. Having traveled around surrounding provinces a lot as well as being familiar with the central provinces, Rohein made valuable connections that eventually landed him the honor of governing over Meydia. As an ex-merchant, Rohein managed to make the Meydian economy thrive more than ever, a feat that landed him a very positive reputation with the locals. Unfortunately, this popularity has somewhat dimmed as even his hands are tied in combatting the increased demon activity in the region. In the eyes of some, Rohein is failing as a governor not being able to appeal to the empire for more support, even though this is hardly his fault.  Despite this recent distrust in him, Rohein labors for the good of his people like ever before. Something that comes with a lot of stress as he desperately searches for a solution to the problem that plagues the province. 
Rohein is a very serious and calm man with a tactical mind. He takes little joy in jokes and other small talk, preferring to get straight to the point. This is quite understandable as he is under no delusion of how valuable his time is, especially during the current crisis. Rohein is also a born negotiator, something that served him well during his days as a merchant. The man is a hard worker and can get easily fixated on problems, spending many a restless night attempting to solve some of them. Despite this he is very practical, not bothering with matters that seem too complex or unrewarding to be solved. Among this he counts the efforts of investigating The Ancient Tower. As governor, it is his duty to act as the contact person of the Imperial Society of the Learned, something he cannot be bothered with at the time.
Rohein remains true to his merchant background, dressing in attires that are custom to traders, all be it the wealthier kind. Nevertheless, he selects his clothing based on its ease of move, as such he never wears any assesiories such as jewelry, hats, or other decorative items. Rohein has a somewhat wrinkled face and dark spots below the eyes due to stress and a varying sleeping schedule. Luckily for him, he still has a full head of straight, brown hair. He has brown eyes that match his hair color and usually a cleanly shaved face, although it has been happening more that his chin and cheeks have appeared a bit rougher.
