Military
Army of Blackmire- the assortment of forces that the various lords of the realm are required to give to the service of the king.
Solares- A holy order following the faith of The Nameless King. Fearsome shock troops who make flaming cavalry charges.
The Grey Tower Knights- A holy order of adherents to the teachings of Marius. Pacifists who believe in diplomacy and non-lethal combat.
The College of Cascade- The devastating evocation magic known by these mages is often put to use as highly mobile artillery
Religion
While the faiths of the Davidian Pantheon are the only ones recognised by the nation many of the racial minorities try to keep some semblance of their own faiths in secret, not for fear of state violence so much as mobs.
Foreign Relations
- Natural Rivals with Genos as they often go to war.
- See Carthagia as a threat, but one distant in time and distance.
- All human nations on the continent are seen as breakaway children of Davidian lines.
Agriculture & Industry
Much of the agriculture in Blackmire is devoted to subsistence farming, though in the cold seasons hunting and fishing keep the people alive. Comercial crops often come from the Fallen Leaf Isles in the form of sugar producing plants and rare medicinal herbs.
Blackmire's industrial production is meager, mostly consisting of logging and quarrying stone. It's critical position on a major trade route allows the Kingdom to suppliment its trade income from tarrifs.

Lords are allowed to make any laws within their own domain. Strangely two lords can write conflicting laws, though it is up to those lords to enforce their own laws.
Judicial Body
Justicars are typically chosen amoung a populace by the lord of that domain. It isn't uncommon for the ranks of Justicars to be made up entirely of members of the Grey Tower Knights, due to their hatred of violence and pacifist, unbiased, nature.
