Government
The lands within the domain of the city are the direct property of the King of Cascade. In practice however he splits management and rulership of these lands among several Custodians. These include Custodian of the Island, Custodian of the Marches, and Custodian of the Rapids. Custodians act to resolve small disputes and uphold the kings law in their designated areas.

Infrastructure
Much of the base level structures were inherited by the Davidian Kings after conquering this area from the lizardfolk. Thus in the poorer districts and the sewers it takes on an angular, red stoned, blocky characteristic while in street level construction of even middle quality it represents much more typical styles and forms.

History
This area was the first location that Davidians made contact with others during the Great Migration of the 3rd age. After conquering the area from the Lizardfolk who owned it the heart of Davidian expansion was set here. This set the foundation fro the creation of all the other realms of the east.
Architecture
A hardy red and white sandstone makes up the old Lizardfolk constructions of the city base. Newer Davidian additions are mostly made of wood and limestone.
Geography
Located where the White Sea thins to a small stream that flows into the Fallen Leaf Isles and then into the Blue Sea. South of Cascade lies The Black Mire.
