Personal history

Havthorn grew up as a commoner in Cascade. Due to his immense size it was easy for him to make a living helping move cargo around the market. In doing this many of the thieves of the city would target him for his pay. Havthorn, having seen many of these types trying to steal food to survive didn't put up resistance and thus ended up destitute himself. Once while he was being robbed a member of the Grey Tower Knights intervened and upon seeing how Havthorn had conducted himself, invited him to train under the order.
Havthorn managed to rise through the ranks quickly due to his size becoming a Knight Priest after only two years of training. It was during this time that the Island Assailment broke out. He served as a medic and guard during this time and fell in love with another member of his order. His lover met an unfortunate end during the conflict that tried Havthorns commitments to peace dearly. Ultimately after years of processing this event he has committed himself fully to peace becoming a Knight Chaplain, the highest rank possible for a commoner in the Grey Tower.
