Helvennite Kingdom
The ancestors of the modern Helvennites were an isolated and tribal people, warring as much with themselves as with the neighbouring Turantian city-states. Their language and many of their customs were lost when they were conquered by the Iron Empire, but now they have become a stoic people, facing hardship with grim determination, and crossbow in hand. They are neither wealthy nor powerful, but all who have sought to subjugate them since they regained their independence have met with bitter defeat. Their people are mostly Harsuism, but many Auneirists still remain, particularly in the kingdom’s hilly eastern reaches.
