Magnetic and cunning, Malik accumulates agents and followers in a way that some generals can only dream, and has their hands in a half-dozen enterprises scattered across the Duchy of Frostcairn, from couriers to caravaneers to courtesans. Malik conducts the flow of coin and information through their network with skill and grace, and has leveraged their family's reputation to annex or eliminate any competitors that directly threaten their enterprises. They are not devout like Abram Antyre or skilled in warfare like Toran Antyre , and they certainly don't have the bleeding-heart sympathies of their sister Beca Tahn Antyre . But they thrive equally in both the dangerous churn of Antari chief-halls and the gilded toxicity of the courts in Redehall, and should their family get dragged into a civil war over the Banteavan throne, their skills and connections could prove quite useful indeed...
