War of the Woods - Turn 4 Quests

Coalition of Blood - Devouring Void The power drawn into the weapon by the alliance was that of life magic from the Tree of Avelorn. Betwixt with the death energy that has been manipulating it, the magic exudes the power of the void between life and death. With the weapon unstable, it now pulsates with this energy, an anathema to the armies of the undead. Perhaps it can still be manipulated but much resources must be poured into it in order to make full use out of it. But to what purpose this relic can be aimed towards...   Coalition of Blood - The Bleeding Root The path towards Avelorn lies open and the roads already teem with the undead. They march forth with swelling numbers in a shambling mass of decayed flesh. Each town or village that they consume only adds to its bulk and the mass is soon visible from vast distances away and its stench permeating far beyond even sight range. The vampiric lords that ride with this army dream of only glorious victory when they take the Aelven city and drink it dry.   The Warherds - Coastal Charge A great toll had been taken upon the warherds. Their valiant efforts and sacrifices pushed back the undead threat from Doomshank Port and forced the vampires to flee the field of battle. A triumphant roar bellowed across the coast as the survivors of the ordeal call out in unison. But like a beast of burden, their work was not complete here and their eyes turn towards Valencourt castle in the distance, paying no attention to the Alliance at their backs. Following the coastline, they march steadily on with pure determination in their eyes.   The Warherds - Apex Predator The undead march steadily on Avelorn. Though the warherds may not have the numbers to offer to stem this tide of death, their bestial instincts tell them one thing; to defeat the leader would mean to crumble the army. With the vampiric lords leading this procession, the herds look to challenge their leaders and take out the head of this long snaking army.   Avelorn Alliance - Coastal Charge The Alliance members fought valiantly against the waves of undead. Casualties too numerous and painful to count, but they have no time to waste nor mourn. The warherds advance towards Valencourt castle and the more bellicose members of the alliance urge to join their new found allies. There was no point in holding this broken port, but the threat of the looming vampiric fortress needed to be snuffed out. In ridding the darkness they hope to see a brighter future.   Avelorn Alliance - Crown of Thorns The usually peaceful city of Avelorn has descended into full martial law in preparations for the siege that will befall them. With each passing day, the smell of the undead grows stronger and the sound of groans and plodding steps has become an ever-present droning warning of their approach. The armies of the alliance have poured all their efforts on the defence against the undead horde, but despite this, a chill fear sweeps through the ranks as the nearly endless column of enemies looms in the distance and grows ever larger and closer.
