Valerie Faustina
This beautiful, extravagently dressed Human woman carries herself with dignity, her elegant, bright red and gold dress adorned with expensive gems. She wears a large ruby and gold necklace and a matching set of earrings, all visible due to her properly maintained ginger hair being short and stylized enough to show her neck and shoulders. Barely visible behind her dress's sizeable, feather-covered neckline is a small Black Kraken Arbiter's Mark , located between her shoulderblades. She walks with poise and purpose, each step clearly calculated behind the ever-present smile she wears on her face.
Valerie Faustina is the supervisor of The Lucky Hound , and is all but in name the owner of the place. While The Scouts Guild of Krakonia(SGK) technically owns the casino and takes a good amount of the profit, Faustina is the one to actually manage the building, ordering all the employees, balancing all the funds, and hosting most of the events. Her appearance alone always draws attention from those at the casino, since she dresses to impress, typically wearing outfits that fit alongside the casino's aesthetic itself. Her beauty is one of the reasons why the Lucky Hound is frequented by as many people as it is, but not the only reason, of course. She does manage the place well, bringing in many artists and performers to entertain the masses while they drink and gamble their money away. She simply treats her own appearance as if it were one of those performances, and boy, is it a successful one. She has to keep guards at her side at all times just to keep the patrons' hands to themselves.
While much of the SGK is put under scrutiny because of the dubious nature of the guild, including the Lucky Hound itself, Faustina is often exempt from such conspiracy. She has never really shown any signs of being even remotely combat-ready, being just a simple noblewoman from Terram lucky enough to start over in Requerm with enough of her personal assets to retain noble status, selling most of her material goods to gain favor with merchants in the city, which in turn worked out in her favor as she was able to quickly earn most of it back through proper investments and networking channels. The casino itself is named after her loyal canine, a basset hound named Ruby that managed to find its way back to her after she was transported to Requerm as per The Effects of the Dawn . She considers the dog the luckiest dog in the multiverse, having managed to find luxury in two different planes of existence, being pampered the entire time, without a care in the world. All of this is publicly known information, since she is a greatly public figure, so there isn't much room for her to sneak around and deal with spies, even in her own casino.
Faustina isn't modest in her approach with others, which has only made her even more desirable to the civilians in town desperate enough to fantasize about a woman far out of their league. She in fact capitalizes on it, making sure her patrons know she's personally welcoming them into her establishment, speaking directly with customers while they're drinking at the bar, waiting between performances at the stage, or attempting to turn their luck around at the gambling tables. A subtle wink and a kiss on the cheek is all it takes to keep many of their bodies glued to their seats. It may be a bit much for some people's moral standards, but hey, whatever gets the SGK more money.
