Red Chu-Chu

This red, googly-eyed, jelly creature squeaks and squiggles and shlorps without a care in the world. Both its eyes and smile are fake, simple ruses to deceive enemies into thinking it has a personality.

Red Chu-Chus are the most common and weakest of Chu-Chus, and are a known Creature of Darkness in Requerm. They wander mindlessly across the land, unless controlled by a greater power. These oozes are best known for the healing qualities of their sticky, rubbery jelly, at least for those brave enough to harvest it from these dangerous blobs.

The Red Chu-Chu made its first appearance in session 2-5, although it was the main target for the entire behest. The party was sent to Fresh Mill Village to determine if there was any truth to the rumors of a mysterious creature wreaking havoc amongst the public. Turns out, after some investigating, the rumors were true, and were referring to a Red Chu-Chu. During the investigation, Mayor Scala insisted that the party deal with the imminent threat, telling them that the mere existence of Creatures of Darkness in Requerm was a bad omen. The party did manage to track down the Chu-Chu, finding a couple of its friends in the process, and managed to defeat them after almost losing Juniper of the Crooked Branch in the process.
