Fresh Mill Village - 178.139

Located roughly 45 miles from Krakonia City , it takes about two days for most medium-sized humanoids to travel on foot between the capital and Fresh Mill Village (three for most small-sized humanoids). There is a maintained road connecting the two points, making travel straightforward and relatively safe. There is technically a way to sail there as well, although it is decidedly impractical considering it doubles the travel distance to do so.

Fresh Mill Village is a small farming village that takes advantage of the fresh water from Streamwalker River to grow their crops in fertile soil and feed their livestock. It isn't much of a tourist destination, but it is considered a fairly important location regardless, since much of the produce grown in this village is traded to merchants in Krakonia City, meaning this village is essentially responsible for feeding many of the citizens in the highly-populated capital. The village itself is managed by Mayor Scala, a Zora woman with much knowledge on how to use fresh water sources to maximize prosperity while making sure that the natural resource remains pure and healthy. It is under her leadership that many farmers have been able to keep up with demand from the capital, a task that continuously gets more and more difficult with each passing year.

Lately the villagers of Fresh Mill Village have been on edge as rumors of a suspicious creature have been spreading around. Many are worried about the quality of their crops and livestock, believing that this creature may somehow be tampering with them. Despite this still being only a rumor, Mayor Scala has issued a Behest with The Adventurers Guild of Krakonia (AGK to try and get to the bottom of this mystery before it gets out of hand.

Having investigated the rumors, a party of adventurers from the AGK discovered that there were several Red Chu-Chus sneaking around the area. Having dispatched them, the village can now breathe a sigh of relief, although not enough time has passed to find out whether or not there are more Chu-Chus hiding away somewhere.
