Kingdom of Greenwood

The last of the once-great Three Kingdoms, the Kingdom of Greenwood holds sway over the Greenwood Dale and the coast nearby. Its power is precariously balanced; in the cities, merchant companies hold great local power, while in the wilderness bandits and monsters abound. King Ardwulf Symond IV, the ruler of the Kingdom, dreads to take any decisive action in the open, for fear of another civil war that would spell the end of the Kingdom.
