CC:Session29:Community Aglow Report
General Summary
With Grim dead and The Sapling of the Abyss left in decay (now know as The Wilted Oasis), The Agitators took a moment to recover.
Taking in the festivities in The Community Aglow, a frantic individual rushed onto the scene. He began to expand with puss and exploded, spreading sickness onto onlookers. After quarantining the group and searching the body, they found a medallion. Venom explained that medallions like such are common among the followers of Ichtaca.
The group took the sick individual to 7493 E Lotus Street (now known as Ichtaca's Beacon) to discuss the illness. They found that the Couatl in the area had become infected after scouting out The Hatching Pools. Ichtaca asked the party to recover the first to be infected and burn the location when leaving. He gave Dart a Mask of the Solar Dragon to assist in doing so.
Summing a vehicle, which appeared like Scorpio Electrics, they snuck into the area. Otto Keisler set up a trap, but unfortunately the creatures were able to break out. A fight ensued, and when things looked promising Mors Plaga arrived. He summoned the eggs in the area which grew out and infected most of the group with Seraph.
Moving quickly, they collected the specimens they could and retreated. With Mors on their tail things began to look dire. At the last moment, Ichtaca arrived and gave his life so The Agitators could escape. After returning to the temple to Akan, the Couatl used the specimens to create a spell and burn the seraph our of the group, including their friend Crumbs.
Without a leader the Couatl found themselves lost and ready to return to their homeworld of Kapaska, but Boots convinced them to stay and support the efforts of The Agitators.
