The Wilted Oasis
The sapling was developed by Grim, with the help of the Seraph. With the goal of returning his lost love to life, Grim practiced dark druidic arts. With a flow of magic through Upper Gotwurm from Nothing and Nowhere, he developed the Nerthus Tree (though it required notes from Rali's research of Pathos, Tree of Hope).
The massive tree takes up 3-4 miles of space. Its roots come to life and attack any living creature, hoping to kill them and drain their blood into its soil. It pulls water from all nearby areas to fuel its constant need and the area around it is almost impossible to cross.
After The Agitators killed Grim and removed the artifact empowering the tree, it began to decay. What has become of the place since remains to be seen.
