Yielding Coast

The Yielding coast stands at the northern end of Antauustret. North of the Eerie Forest the climate changes as the warm winds from the Gloomy sea are trapped between the forest and the Eperom Wall. Off the coast the warm waters and calm seas allows the port city of Walendam to harbor the largest whaling fleet in Pangeria.

Coastline Cities:

Along the coast line are the two main coastal cities alongside several smaller fishing villages.

Van Kan

The castle of Van Kan was founded to be the new home of the Van Kan Family. The castle lies in the most north western part of Antaauustret, the castle was constructed to be home to the family vault that is said to be home to one of the largest troves of treasure in Pangeria.

Walendam

Walendam is a large port city along the Yielding Coast, home to one of the largest whaling fleets throughout Pangeria.

Inland Cities:

Only two settlements lie inland off the Yielding coast.

Utredam

Utredam is a large town constructed at the tail of the Slovin river where the land is most fertile. Its towns main focus us the growing of crops for the coastal cities.

Vasten

To the east of Walendam stands a city in the shadow of the Vastenbur Mountains overlooking the Eerie Forest. The city of Vasten, constructed partly into the mountains, is home to the finest craftsmen the Van Kan Family can afford. Each year they pull thousands of gemstones out of the ground to be refined before being sold to the Lords of the Free Harbors.

History:

For almost a thousand years the northern part of Antauustret laid empty as nobody was foolish enough to try and make a life in the barren land. It wasn't until the Van Kan Family began trading with the Free Harbors that the northern coast of the continent was settled. The turbulent seas gave way to calm coastline and more fertile soil inland.
