The Devil's Chain Islands

The Restless Sea hides many perils, be it the great beasts that swim its depths or the murderous men that navigate its waters. But the greatest of these dangers are the isles that mark its middle, four islands make the chain that is home to some of the most cutthroat sailors and privateers to ever roam the seas. They are called the Devil's Chain Islands and were named due to the legend that follows those who took first residence there. The islands are controlled by three major pirate organizations, the first makes their home upon the southern most island called Soratoa and control the waters directly around the island, the organization is called the Wind Wail Pirates, they are far larger than any crew and garner a host of at least thirteen ships all of which are host to a different crew which has sworn fealty to the head Captain Yaro Gale Caller and his Wind Wail Pirates. The second of these groups is the most cutthroat and destructive of the three, they are The Black Squall, much like the Wind Wail Pirates they are a unified mass of several crews who have sworn featly to one central and original pirate crew, they are centered on the island of Mutiny and control the waters around it as well as a smaller island called Cache located slightly to the north east of the main island. The Black Squall is lead by Vigo D. Fortuna and his Grey Mane Pirates, who have made themselves known to many sea faring kingdoms in both Ardath and Sorrowel as a band of truly brutal murdering thieves and cutthroats who would completely obliterate whole convoys of ships just to rob one. The final organization makes their home on the largest of the islands within the chain, and they control the seas to its north and even hold a stronghold on the western shore of Sorrowel, they are the strongest of the three organizations but they are kept in check by the constant advances of the other two, as well as the constant influence of the Toraland Empire and the Jade Dragon Empire. They are called The Devil's Ravens and they make their home on the Isle of Pirates, legend to be the home of the first pirates, and the ancestral seat of power for the Pirate Kings.
Geography
The Devil's Chain Islands are a collection of islands that lies in between Ardath and Sorrowel, there are four primary islands within the chain, the northern most island is called The Isle of Pirates, it is an 'S' shaped island covered in a lush jungle, dotted with two small mountain ranges along the southern and northern sections of the island. These mountains are called the Northern and Southern Peaks respectively
