Mystery of Water

New Elucion

  The most infamous of the Mystics of Water come from the New Elucion Shedra is found within the slums of Oriab, hidden somewhere in the devastation of Oriab's undercity, far from the gaze of Ryuk Areman. While the Elucionites were once a relatively passive Mystic order content with contemplating the philosophical and mathematical nature of universe, the order splintered off into several factions after the destruction of Elucion in the Age of River Kings by the forces of Phlegeth. The most famous of these factions, the Elucionites, went on to terrorize the River Kings, becoming heroic rebels and infamous terrorists. The Elucionites are blamed by some for the collapse of the River Gates themselves. If true this would make them responsible for the deaths of countless people during the Gilded War Interregnum.  

Mystery of Water Skill

  The Mystic's can flows like water, allowing them to stretch their limbs supernaturally as though they are Elastic whenever using the Mystery of Water skill. As per the rules of being Elastic, the Mystic may make attacks or conduct actions as though the Mystic has extra tiles of of reach equal to skillpoints spent. When elastic limbs are severed by attackers or otherwise lost, the Mystic instead gains points of dehydration.   The Mystery of Water may also be used to stave off dehydration. For each day the Mystic does this, he loses 1 rank of Mystery of Water until he is able to practice the Water Ritual associated with his order.   Adept: The Mystic's supernatural reach doesn't need to travel in a straight line towards his opponent.
  Master: The Mystic can reach around to an opponent's back or flank with these attacks.

Skill Rules

A Skill may wagered to perform an Ability check.  This adds 50% Uncertainty to the wager.
 
A skill may be wagered to augment an Ability check. This adds 25% Uncertainty to the wager.
 
Skills are a sum of all the Abilities that a character has within that Skill category. Ranking up an Ability within that Skill ranks up the Skill as well.
