Mystery of Stone

  Ways:   The Mystery of Stone pertains to transformation of the nature of one's imperfect and ephemeral physical body and mind to a more perfect form within the physical realm, allowing Mystics to avoid the corruptions of flesh and mind.   Mystics may turn an attacked or attacking portion of his body into a material, wagering the hardness and damage resistance attributes of that material. Attacks or defensive maneuvers made this way are made with a weapon of the Mystic's choice. If the mystic comes into possession of magical weapons or armor, they may perform special rituals to integrate such a weapon or armor into themselves, destroying it but gaining its abilities usable with the associated costs. Weapons or armor integrated this way are considered equipped if the Mystic intends to use them in combat.   Adept: At rank 5, the Mystic may use Mystery of Stone to stop the spread of disease or poison by turning the affected area to stone.   Master: At rank 10, the Mystic may use Mystery of Stone to stop bleeding or critical trauma by turning the affected area to stone.

Ability

This an Ability. Abilities can be used without paying any Uncertainty penalty. They represent a creature's skill and experience with a particular task and are the most powerful wager that can be made. You can wager an Ability all on its own or you can augment them with their associated Skill and Attribute.



Example: If you wager 5 Stamina, you may also wager up to 5 Conditioning and 5 Endurance without any uncertainty.
