Stormbril is said to be a Tengu sorcerer once sporting the powers of thunder and lightning itself, believing themselves to be the reincarnation of some long forgotten thunder god. Although their infamy was short-lived, it left an impact upon the lands.

Electric Elegance

Although a crow-like Tengu, Stormbril's appearance was akin to an avatar of some higher god. Dressed in silk with golden accents, wielding a staff of solid steel that held a bust shot of themselves on top. Most people do remember them for their scarred beak, struck by the lightning that changed their life.

Thunderstruck

One day, Stormbril apparently got struck by a lightning bolt from the skies, either through foolish flailing of steel or by pure bad luck. However, Stormbril didn't die of it, believing they were actually an incarnation of the fabled "Thunderbird".

As such, they began pretending to be an avatar of said deity, dressing up in godly garments and studying lightning magic to complete the look. People believed they were insane, while others followed their little cult.

However, such fame came short-handed as once told to show their divine power they foolishly raised their steel staff, only to be struck down by lightning. Many told the sight of them poofing into a puff of feathers, others describe it as watching a bird explode all over. But Stormbril went out like they came to being: in a flash of lightning.
