The River Realms
The River Realms are a loose civilization of River Djinni, bound together by sacred oaths, ancient pacts, and reverence for the living rivers of Agela.
Each Realm is governed by its own Court, drawn from elder Djinni and stewards of the river spirits. While the Realms maintain shared traditions and mutual defense, each Court rules its own tributary, river-basin, or delta with near-complete autonomy.
The political heart of the River Realms is Qasr-al-Nebu, the underwater city beneath the River Sahri, home to the venerable Court of the Riverlights.
