Nefra
Nefra is one of the Free Cities of Al-Khet located in the Osirion Wastes.
Ruled by influential Merchant Lords, Nefra is a city of opulence and decadence, its wealth drawn from controlling trade across the dunes. Nefra's markets bustle with rare spices, textiles, and, most notably, the infamous slave auctions of Khennet-Aru. Despite its allure, Nefra is a city of harsh disparities, with its elite secluded within towering palaces, while the lower classes toil beneath the scorching sun.
The Merchant Lords live by a cutthroat code, where fortunes can be won or lost in a single evening. Political intrigue is as much a part of daily life as trade itself, and those who fall out of favor often find themselves sold into servitude or exiled into the wastes.
