Shale of Andinia
A child of an Andinian family who came to Enther as traders, Shale was a notable child in the City of Denmoore. Her long dark hair, golden skin and large brown eyes made all the residents of the city comment on how much of a beautiful woman she would grow to be, and that she did.
As she came into her womanhood, men began falling at her feet. Her large breasts and curvy features on a slim frame made her desirable to all "red blooded" men who came into contact with her. As she grew, she became the recipient of the affections of the Great Lord's son. He would approach her often as she grew into a young woman, though Shale would often refuse his advances. She had no desire for him, or any man for that matter. The constant fawning and vying for her attention made her see men as nothing more than stupid lap dogs.
The son would take the rejections to his father. Displeased and embaressed by his sons scorn, the Great Lord invoked an old rite, The Choosing. This old ritual was once used by Lords in order to secure their heirs suitable spouses, though had rarely been used in a few centuries.
With this rite, Shale was forced by law to be wed to the heir. While living in the Great Lord's keep, awaiting her fate, she would grow close with a man who unlike all others, did not fall at her feet. The young knight, in service to the Great Lord, would accompany her and be her "protector" and keeper until the wedding day. However, they fell in love.
The tales go that the young knight and Shale fled the city to live in harmony, but since then only the knight has been seen throughout Enther without Shale.
