The GreatHammers are a sept of Clan Battlehammer. The patriarch Slob I accompanied Thun across the sea. They were close friends. In fact Thun gave Slob his characteristic facial scar during the fabled wedding of Thun and An. The old tales say that Slob I sacrificed his life in a battle against a red dragon in order to save Thun's life.
