Zoomakym
The Zoomakym system lies within the sector of the Galactic Compact known as the Venerable Congregation. It is an abandoned world orbiting an ancient red star that shows strong evidence of stellar engineering in the distant past.
The planet is now preserved as a museum and reserved for scholars who study the incredibly ancient ruins that litter its cracked landscapes. According to popular legend Zoomakyn is the world where the Galactic Compact was founded, between six and seven billion years ago. It is a wonder that anything survives from these times, but the silver table, shown in the illustration at the head of this article is reputed to be the site of the first meetings between the alien races in the Venerable Congregation who would play such an important role in the early history of the galaxy.
