Jerome Maxham
Jerome Maxham was a mage in the Court Circle of Katrapetch during the late thirty first and thirty second centuries.
He joined the Arcane Advisors in 3071 APC and briefly received training from Sudharma Vyas in the four years before the older mage's death in 3075 APC. This was sufficient to show his natural talent for geomancy and the enchanting of gemstones in particular, a speciality which he continued to develop throughout his career.
Jerome was promoted to be an Arcane Wisdom at an unusually young age when Clarise Vabatan married Amarshiva Rajput in 3084 APC and held the role until 3121 APC, retiring on 21st Doloph of that year when he was replaced by Zelbirii Eth.
There were some who thought that he should have become the Senior Magician of Katrapetch in 3091 APC, after the trial and death of Drithald Unkeld and still more who advocated for his promotion in 3111 APC, following the resignation of Tamubar Roo but it was a title he was never destined to assume, in large part due to the political machinations of Clarise Vabatan, who influenced the appointment council to select Veldrhin Kahl on the second occasion.
Jerome retired to a house in the Hildron's Heights district of Cliffport after he left the Court Circle of Katrapetch where he died in 3146 APC.
